4 Free Printable Planners and Trackers for Your Week, Habits, Gifts and Books

30-Day Habit Tracker printable - page 1

A good planner does not need to be fancy. It needs to be clear, easy to print and pleasant enough that you actually pick it up. That is the idea behind our newest set of free printables: four simple tools for your week, your habits, your gift list and your reading, all in the same warm brown and gold palette.

This post explains what each printable is for, how to use it and how to combine them into a small, calm system. Everything is free, needs no sign-up and prints on regular paper at home.

Why simple printables work

  • You can start today. There is nothing to buy and nothing to set up.
  • They fit real life. You print what you need, when you need it.
  • They feel good to use. Writing by hand slows you down and helps you remember.
  • They are easy to change. If a layout does not suit you, reprint a fresh page next week.

1. The Weekly Reset Planner

The Weekly Reset Planner is a two-page weekly plan. Page one has three top priorities and a Monday to Sunday spread. Page two is the reset page: a brain dump, wins, next week prep, a simple meal plan, a self-care checklist and a small habit check.

The weekly spread keeps priorities at the top and the days below.

How to use it: set aside ten minutes on Sunday. Start with the brain dump, because an empty head plans better. Then choose three priorities and spread them across the week. If you want a full year of pages, read our guide to how to use a 2027 planner.

2. The Holiday Gift Budget Tracker

Gift giving is easier when you can see everything at once. The Holiday Gift Budget Tracker has boxes for total budget, spent so far and remaining, plus a 22-row table for recipient, gift idea, budget, spent, bought and wrapped. The second page adds a holiday checklist, key dates, an ideas parking lot and a list of cards to write.

How to use it: write the total first, then list everyone. Fill in each budget before you shop. For ideas, browse gifts under $25 and plan timing with the Christmas planning checklist. If you are hosting, our holiday hosting checklist is a useful companion.

A single page can hold the whole gift list, budget and wrapping status.

3. The 30-Day Habit Tracker

Habits stick when progress is visible. The 30-Day Habit Tracker gives you a grid with up to 12 habits across 30 days, with gold lines every five days to make progress easy to read. The second page adds four weekly check-ins, milestone stars for days 7, 14, 21 and 30 and a why I started box.

How to use it: start with three or four habits, not twelve. Tick a square every day. If you miss a day, simply carry on. For a gentler habit, try the gratitude journal prompts or the year in pixels mood tracker.

4. The Reading Log and Book Tracker

For book lovers, the Reading Log has a 15-row table for title, author, dates and a five-star rating. The second page has a 30-book counter where you color a circle for every book you finish, a to-be-read list, a favorite quotes box and a list for borrowed and lent books.

A book counter makes every finished book feel like a small win.

How to use it: write your yearly goal at the top. Log each book when you start and finish it. If you enjoy reading journals, see how to start a journal, and for gift ideas, gifts for bookworms.

How to combine them into one small system

  1. Sunday: fill in the Weekly Reset Planner.
  2. Every day: tick the habit tracker and one reading square or page.
  3. Once a month: check the gift tracker and update your budget.
  4. Every month end: look back at what worked and adjust.

Printing tips

  • Print at 100 percent scale on US Letter. They also print on A4.
  • Use regular paper for weekly pages and light cardstock for pages you will keep for a month.
  • A hole punch and a slim binder turn the pages into a tidy planner. Our guide to how to print a PDF planner at home has more tips.
  • If you print in black and white, the brown fills turn into clear gray bands, so the layout still reads well.
