Wall Calendar Size Guide: Standard Sizes and How to Hang One
A wall calendar only works if it fits the wall and the way you plan. Too small and you cannot write in it. Too big and it takes over the room. This guide covers common sizes, the exact sizes of the 2027 calendars in our shop, and how to hang one so it stays flat and visible. Prices are as listed at the time of writing.
Common wall calendar sizes
Sizes vary by maker, and some listings give the page size while others give the full size when opened. Always read whether a size is closed or open, and check the number against your wall. These are common ranges:

The 2027 calendar is printed on 270 gsm semi-gloss paper with monthly date grids and a silver 3/8 inch wire coil. Holidays are not marked. The blank calendar leaves the dates to you, with uncoated matte grid areas that take pen or marker, spiral binding and a centered hanging hole.
How to pick the size
- Count your notes. If you write a lot in each day, choose the larger 14 x 11.5 inch size.
- Measure the wall. Leave at least a few inches of space around it and keep clear of switches and doors.
- Decide dated or blank. A dated calendar saves time. A blank one lets you start at any month.
- Pick the finish. Matte takes pen better, as the listing notes. Glossy looks more vivid.
How to hang a wall calendar
- Choose a spot near where you plan, such as a desk, a fridge side or the kitchen.
- Hang it at about eye level, so you can write without stretching.
- Use a nail or a small hook that goes through the centered hole.
- Use a level or a ruler so the calendar does not tilt.
- Hang a pen nearby on a string so you always write on it.
